Route 60 runs from the east to the west, 2,670 miles from the Atlantic Ocean in Virginia and ends in Western Arizona. The Copper Mountain Motel is located just off Route 60, in the town of Superior, Arizona. Situated within the Tonto National Forest and some of the best hiking in the world, Superior, Arizona is the perfect location for the outdoor recreational enthusiast.
Traveling west from The Copper Mountain Motel, you will find the cities of Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Mesa, Chandler, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale and, of course, Phoenix. It is a 50 to 55 minute drive to downtown Phoenix, while west Phoenix, Mesa, or Chandler are approximately 30 to 35 minutes away. Gold Canyon can be reached in just 25 minutes.
Heading east from the Copper Mountain Motel, the cities of Miami and Globe are only 15 to 25 minutes away.
Since Superior, Arizona is located within the Tonto National Forest, it is also home to Iron Mountain, Fortuna Peak, Grizzly Mountain, Top-of-the-World, Barnes Peak, Cimarron Mountains, Buzzard Roost, Elephant Butte, Coffee Flat Mountain, Fish Creek, and the famous Superstition Mountain.
